ABOUT KATE


Originally from the UK, Kate is an award-winning Production Designer based in New York City with a diverse portfolio of films that have shown at festivals worldwide including at Cannes (Palme D’Or nominee), Berlin and Telluride. Her projects have won numerous awards including at SXSW and the LA Film Festival and have been screened in countries as various as China, Russia, India and Australia to name but a few.

Kate graduated in ‘Design for Performance’ at Central Saint Martins in London and has worked extensively as a Set Designer for Theatre in both London, New York and elsewhere. She designed the set for the IFP Gotham Awards 4 years running and has also tackled commercial projects for companies such as Nike, Canon, the NFL, Glamour, Teen Vogue, GQ, Allure, Conde Nast and the Discovery Channel.

Kate has taught or run workshops at various Theatre programs on both sides of the Atlantic and loves to bring her multi-disciplined experience to bear, both in her teaching and in all the diverse projects she undertakes.
