A young woman trapped in a cross-cultural contract marriage devises the ultimate plan of escape. The key challenge of this visually rich short was to convey a sense of real wealth and luxury with a very small budget. Aside from a general consult on locations and Art Direction for the piece, one key element that I created for this film was a faux gold-leaf panel painting.
