This was part of a teaching unit at Arts Ed in London, UK. I ran a series of workshops to help guide the students through the design process for both set and costumes. Top Girls pitches female historical figures against each other in a lengthy fantasy sequence. We used chairs and thrones of different styles to create a very simple, versatile and to place each women in her own space and era. These pieces were then repurposed to create the set for the modern day action.
